Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Coarsegold, CA

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to determine speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing each child's unique goals
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapy professionals to coordinate effective care strategies
• Educate and support families on patient progress and home-based interventions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and active SLP license in California
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations in a hospital setting
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to the needs and developmental levels of diverse children
• Organizational competence and reliability when documenting and managing caseloads
• A compassionate, collaborative attitude, with the ability to engage children and families
