Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cumberland, MD

This hospital-based travel assignment is designed for Speech Language Pathologists eager to expand their resume, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage with a diverse patient population. Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
• Day shifts
• Rotating weekends and holidays

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality speech-language pathology services to patients across hospital settings
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to refine treatment approaches
• Document care accurately and efficiently
• Offer guidance to patients’ families and caregivers
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and training
• Support facility and team goals through participation in meetings and continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MS, MA, or MEd)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in healthcare/hospital settings
• Active Speech Pathologist license (MD and/or NY as applicable)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Compliance with PA Act 31, 33, 34, 73 (for PA assignments) and all relevant state licensure requirements
