Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) required
  • Expertise in providing Speech-Language Pathology services within a hospital environment
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Valid and current state licensure for both Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, as applicable
  • Experience in hospital or acute care preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and hearing disorders in patients of varying ages
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
  • Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes according to hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and families about communication, swallowing disorders, and hearing management strategies
  • Select and fit appropriate hearing devices as needed
  • Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards relevant to audiology and speech-language pathology
