Deliver specialized therapy and audiology services within a hospital environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care. In this contract role, your expertise in both speech-language pathology and audiology will help assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and hearing disorders.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 08:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) required
- Current and valid state licensure for Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a clinical team
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations for patients with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and hearing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital protocols and policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences as needed
