Audiologist Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fairfax, VA

Deliver specialized therapy and audiology services within a hospital environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care. In this contract role, your expertise in both speech-language pathology and audiology will help assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and hearing disorders.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 08:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) required
• Current and valid state licensure for Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist
• Proven experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a clinical team
• Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough evaluations for patients with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and hearing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to ensure holistic patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital protocols and policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences as needed
