Step into a dynamic healthcare setting providing essential therapy and audiology services. This contract role focuses on supporting patients within a hospital environment as part of a collaborative Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)/Audiology team.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What You Bring:
- Doctoral degree in audiology (Au.D.) required
- Strong clinical skills in audiological diagnostic testing and therapy
- Experience working in hospital or clinical settings, preferably within ENT departments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for patient interaction and family education
- Knowledge of current therapies, assessments, and rehabilitation methods for hearing and speech disorders
- Detail-oriented approach with accurate record-keeping and documentation skills
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations and diagnostics
- Deliver speech-language therapy and rehabilitation programs according to patient needs
- Collaborate with ENT specialists and other medical staff to provide integrated patient care
- Fit and manage hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Develop individualized therapy plans for patients with speech, language, or hearing impairments
- Educate patients and families on hearing loss, therapy options, and rehabilitation processes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with facility guidelines
