Schedule/Hours:

  • Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
  • Potential for rare on-call coverage for stroke evaluations

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Kentucky licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital/healthcare setting
  • Documented background in pediatric outpatient therapy
  • Inpatient swallowing and modified barium swallow expertise required
  • Must reside at least 75 miles away from assignment location

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and deliver therapeutic interventions for pediatric and adult patients
  • Perform inpatient swallowing assessments, including modified barium swallow studies
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff
  • Complete documentation promptly and accurately per hospital standards
  • Provide rare on-call speech support for acute stroke evaluations if needed
