A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services within a hospital setting. This contract position offers guaranteed hours, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care to your patients and making a tangible difference in their lives.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week guaranteed

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation environment, ideally serving adult and/or geriatric populations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills
  • Current knowledge of therapeutic interventions for a broad range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address functional needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapy providers to coordinate patient care
  • Document patient progress according to hospital and regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to improve speech and swallowing outcomes
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings as needed
