Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Los Angeles, CA

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure for speech-language pathology
• Experience working in hospital and/or school-based settings
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapy techniques
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in patients of varying ages
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based approaches
• Consult with physicians, teachers, families, and caregivers regarding patient progress and recommendations
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices
• Educate patients and families about home practice and ongoing management of communication disorders
