Using your expertise in healthcare as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will work directly with patients to improve critical skills, all while collaborating closely with a diverse care team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and clinical certification
  • Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in assessment and therapeutic management of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent documentation abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills for patient and interdisciplinary team interactions

Schedule:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver therapy for speech, language, and swallowing challenges
  • Develop individualized care plans based on evaluation outcomes
  • Complete thorough and accurate patient documentation, from initial evaluation through to discharge
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to determine coverage and verify benefits for therapy services
  • Educate and advise hospital staff—including nurses, physicians, and support teams—about results, interventions, and evidence-based recommendations
  • Design and present staff in-services and training sessions to support best practices
  • Maintain a clean and safe treatment space following therapy sessions
  • Provide appointment reminders and guidance to both patients and families to facilitate hospital navigation
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple healthcare providers to deliver patient-centered care
  • Support additional assigned duties as needed
