A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work on-site with elementary-aged students (preschool through 5th grade) in a supportive school environment. In this contract role, you’ll play a vital part in fostering communication and language skills for students with mild to moderate needs, engaging in meaningful interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule/Hours:
- On-site, school-based schedule aligned with elementary school hours
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC or CFY credential
- Eligibility for or possession of state licensure
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), evaluations, and standardized testing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement IEPs, tailoring interventions to each child’s goals
- Provide direct therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment
