This full-time, onsite contract role offers you the chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with educators and families to help students develop vital communication skills.

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours
  • Onsite position for the 2026–2027 school year

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Assess students and conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations
  • Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across a pediatric caseload
  • Participate in collaborative meetings with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with state and district standards
  • Address a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse school population

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; applicants completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility preferred
  • Previous experience in hospital, pediatric, or school settings is a plus
