Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing expert speech-language services in a collaborative and supportive school environment. This onsite, full-time opportunity is available for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting students’ communication and learning outcomes in partnership with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time
  • Onsite, standard school hours
  • 2026–2027 school year

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows will be considered)
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility highly desired
  • Experience working in pediatrics or school-based settings is advantageous
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services addressing communication, articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing collaboration with teachers and families
  • Provide education and guidance on communication strategies to support student progress
