Exciting opportunities are available for professionals with expertise in both Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to deliver high-quality therapy in a hospital setting. Work closely with Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialists as part of a collaborative audiology and rehabilitation care team.
Schedule:
- Start time: 08:00
- End time: 16:30
Key Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in audiology (Au.D.) required
- Demonstrated skill in hospital-based speech-language therapy and audiological practices
- Experience supporting ENT or audiology services in a clinical or hospital environment
- Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) for both Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Excellent organizational, assessment, and patient documentation abilities
- Strong communication skills for working with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for hearing and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans in conjunction with ENT physicians and allied health staff
- Administer therapy to improve speech, language, and auditory processing as medically indicated
- Use advanced audiological equipment and technology for patient assessment and intervention
- Provide patient and family education, counseling, and follow-ups on treatment and prevention strategies
- Maintain detailed clinical records and ensure compliance with hospital standards, policies, and best practices
- Participate in case conferences and contribute to ongoing team education
