Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLP license in the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in hospital or healthcare settings a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to varied patient populations and clinical teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in hospital-based patients
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families for optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and participate in outcome tracking initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development and share insights with colleagues
