Support the communication development of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic educational setting serving K-6 graders with mild to moderate speech and language challenges.

Location: This position is based in Camarillo, CA, a vibrant community known for its pleasant weather, scenic parks, and family-friendly atmosphere. Camarillo offers an excellent quality of life with close proximity to beaches, cultural attractions, and outdoor recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy to elementary students
  • Work under supervision to implement individualized treatment plans focused on speech and language improvement
  • Support students with mild to moderate speech and language impairments
  • Document and track student progress accurately
  • Collaborate with educators and therapists to coordinate care

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an SLPA with at least one full school year in a similar role preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively serve the student population
  • Ability to manage a caseload averaging 55 students
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques and educational standards for K-6 grade levels

Schedule:

  • Approximately 35 hours per week
