Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist - Aberdeen, WA

You’ll have the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of diverse PK-12 students, ranging in age from 4 to 22, working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license and registration
• Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Proficiency with individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, adapting to varied needs
• Comfort conducting new evaluations and screenings as required
• Skilled in providing therapy in home health, healthcare, or school settings
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students with a wide range of abilities and needs in public school settings
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals and educational outcomes
• Conduct new evaluations and screenings for students as needed to determine necessary supports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success and educational access
• Document progress and maintain reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and insights for student growth
• Work efficiently within a 37.5–40 hour/week schedule, with flexibility to adjust as needs arise

This contract position is available to start as soon as possible and runs through June, offering a fulfilling experience supporting a dynamic and collaborative school environment.
