Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist - Hoquiam, Washington

Step into an impactful role providing essential occupational therapy services to students in a dynamic education environment. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June, offering full-time hours (37.5 to 40 per week) working with a caseload of around 40 students, with the added variety of conducting new evaluations and screenings. You’ll support a diverse group of learners across Pre-K through young adult ages (4–22), making a tangible difference in their daily school experience.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Washington State
• Background providing services in school, healthcare, or home health settings
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations, ideally in schools
• Familiarity with evaluations, screenings, and individualized student plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a collaborative, student-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a varied caseload of students
• Assess, screen, and evaluate new students as needs arise
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
• Collaborate on IEP teams, contributing expertise in OT interventions and accommodations
• Flexible in serving multiple school sites as needed
