Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist | Las Vegas, New Mexico

Over this assignment, beginning in early August 2026 and running through late May 2027, you’ll help students access the educational resources and functional skills they need to thrive.

Qualifications and Experience:

• New Mexico Occupational Therapy license in good standing required
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT strongly preferred
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
• Well-developed organizational skills to balance caseload responsibilities and maintain records

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site occupational therapy aligned with students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Conduct evaluations, meaningful therapy sessions, and monitor student progress
• Partner with educational teams and families to foster supportive learning environments
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and therapy standards
• Help students access curriculum and participate fully in school activities across multiple sites
