Qualifications:

  • Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Virginia
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare OT settings preferred
  • Familiarity with Home Health OT and broad healthcare OT roles beneficial
  • Strong supervisory and organizational skills for overseeing COTAs
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized plans
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20-25 students
  • Complete all evaluations, assessments, and necessary documentation in a timely manner
  • Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to enhance student outcomes
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Attend meetings as required and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
