Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist | Montesano, Washington

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in public school settings near Montesano, WA. This role focuses on delivering specialized Occupational Therapy services for a diverse caseload of around 40 students, with the scope to conduct new evaluations and screenings as needed. You'll work with a broad age range, providing essential care for students aged 4 through 22 in PK-12 environments. The position is full-time, offering 37.5 to 40 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible through June.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare settings
• Familiarity with therapy assessments, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
• Comfortable serving a range of ages and needs within a public school population
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to handle both ongoing therapy caseloads and new student evaluations

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide direct therapy, both in individual and group formats, to address fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
• Perform assessments and screenings for new referrals, developing recommendations for student plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student IEP goals
• Document treatment progress, evaluations, and follow the necessary compliance standards
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of students from early childhood through young adult transition ages
