Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current licensure in California as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working with students in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of therapy best practices for pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Develop treatment plans and IEP goals based on student assessments
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of interventions and progress
  • Collaborate with school staff and participate in IEP meetings
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and support staff regarding student needs and progress
  • Support students’ functional participation within their educational environments
  • Stay informed of best practices and continuing education relevant to school-based therapy
