Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist in Sapello, NM

Assignment Details:

• Contract assignment beginning August 6, 2026 and ending May 27, 2027
• Approximately 20 hours weekly, supporting a caseload of about .4 FTE across five local school sites
• Onsite services only, focusing on school-based therapy and supporting student needs

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver occupational therapy aligned with student IEP goals and educational objectives
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress
• Maintain thorough and compliant therapy documentation and session notes
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to support holistic student development
• Help students access both educational content and functional aspects of their school environments

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of New Mexico
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is an asset
• Strong organizational skills and a knack for effective communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to adapt and work across multiple sites while staying detail-oriented and focused on student outcomes
