Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist - Westport, Washington

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development in a vibrant school environment near the scenic Westport, WA area! This role is designed for a passionate Occupational Therapist eager to contribute expertise across various settings, including both school-based and home health. Beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June, this position offers full-time hours of 37.5 to 40 weekly, providing consistent support to a diverse caseload.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school, home health, and healthcare settings
• Previous work with PK-12 populations, ages 4–22, strongly preferred
• Proficiency in performing new evaluations and screenings
• Able to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT services within public school settings
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for new student referrals
• Create and implement treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of services rendered
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success in both academic and developmental domains
• Provide home health occupational therapy services when needed
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that respects each student’s unique strengths
