1:1 Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Physical Therapist in Fairfield, CT

Make an impact by providing dedicated physical therapy support to students in a school-based environment near Fairfield, CT. This contract opportunity focuses on working one-on-one with a pediatric student, delivering direct and consultative therapy in a supportive educational setting.

Ideal candidates should have:

• Experience in therapy with an emphasis on school-based physical therapy
• Background in healthcare Physical Therapy, preferably within public or private schools
• Familiarity with 1:1 pediatric therapy
• Skill in planning and implementing individual therapy plans to support student accessibility and participation
• Appropriate state licensure and credentials in Physical Therapy
• Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with educators and caregivers
• Ability to document services and progress according to school requirements

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering 30 minutes of direct physical therapy services per week to an assigned student
• Providing 45 minutes of consultative services per trimester, collaborating with school staff to develop strategies supporting student needs
• Maintaining precise documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Participating in meetings with faculty and families to align therapy with educational goals
• Creating a positive, encouraging environment that fosters growth and student success
