Bring your expertise as a California-licensed Physical Therapist to a rewarding contract role supporting students from preschool through 3rd grade. This engaging part-time position (2 days per week) offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners in an educational setting near Fremont, CA.

In this role, you'll work with a diverse caseload of 13 students, the majority of whom attend three local elementary schools, with one student placed at a non-public school. Your responsibilities will encompass direct therapy (6.25 hours per week, with additional time for travel and assessments), collaborating with educators and families, and assisting in the achievement of each child's individual goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Previous experience delivering physical therapy in schools, pediatrics, or clinical environments
  • Ability to work effectively with preschool through 3rd-grade students
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
  • Commitment to a part-time schedule (2 days weekly)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct, evidence-based physical therapy to preschool and elementary students
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
  • Document interventions and student outcomes per regulatory and school requirements
  • Travel between school locations as needed for student services
