This part-time contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced Physical Therapist (CA licensed) who’s passionate about providing skilled therapy in educational environments.

You’ll work with a focused caseload of 13 students, spanning from preschool through 3rd grade. While most students attend three local elementary sites, one is located at a non-public school, offering some variety in your week. The role offers approximately 6.25 direct service hours, with two days on-site each week to allow time for thorough assessments, documentation, and travel between sites.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Recent experience delivering PT services in school or pediatric settings
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and IEP participation skills
  • Ability to engage preschool and elementary-age students with diverse physical needs
  • Efficient time management; able to organize visits across multiple school sites
  • Flexibility and a collaborative approach to work with teachers, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct PT services as outlined in IEPs to students in preschool - 3rd grade
  • Complete assessments and provide comprehensive reports for new and re-evaluation cases
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Travel between three elementary campuses and a non-public school to provide services
  • Track progress and maintain detailed, compliant records for each student served
