Position: School-Based Physical Therapist (PT)
Schedule: Part-Time, 10–20 hours per week
Contract Dates: August 11, 2026 – June 4, 2027
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students in achieving their educational and functional goals within the school setting.
Position Details
- Schedule: 10–20 hours per week
- Start Date: August 11, 2026
- End Date: June 4, 2027
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th grade (K–12)
- IEP Platform: SIRAS/AbleSpace
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and direct therapy services for students with disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding mobility, positioning, equipment, and access to the educational environment.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation using the SIRAS/AbleSpace IEP system.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and district regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective teamwork with school personnel.
