School-Based SLPA Job – Tucson, AZ
Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in the Tucson, Arizona area. This role supports a large and diverse student population across PreK–12 schools, providing essential speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual SLPA who is passionate about pediatric speech therapy and supporting students with diverse communication needs.
Position Details
- Full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year
- District-wide assignment (PreK–12 campuses)
- Large and diverse caseload (approx. 14,900 students district-wide)
- Support for students with IEPs and English Language Learners (ELL)
- Onsite school-based services
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services under SLP supervision
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
- Support students with articulation, language delays, fluency, and communication disorders
- Assist with data collection and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and special education teams
- Support bilingual Spanish-speaking students as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Help facilitate IEP goal implementation
Qualifications Required:
- Active SLPA license in Arizona
- Ability to work in a school-based K–12 setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow clinical direction from supervising SLP
Preferred:
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services
- Experience supporting articulation and language disorders
