Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Aberdeen, Washington

Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to work with young learners in a dynamic school environment. This contract position offers both virtual and in-person flexibility, with the option to provide services remotely if an onsite SLPA is present. The role is situated near Aberdeen, WA, and begins as soon as possible, focusing on supporting pre-kindergarten through second-grade students, including those in high-needs programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience or formal training in pediatric and school-based SLP services
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for online therapy delivery
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 80 students
• Expertise working with young children and knowledge of early childhood development
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly within educational team settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to PreK–2nd grade students, including those in high-needs programs
• Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to best support student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school district and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the special education process
