Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students through a flexible, contract-based opportunity near Adrian, MI. This part-time role is tailored for dedicated SLPs passionate about breaking down communication barriers and fostering student success in a school environment.

In this vital position, you'll serve a diverse caseload of 48 students, including a range of communication needs across all grade levels. Utilize your specialized knowledge and commitment to excellence as you address speech, language, and AAC device interventions in a collaborative educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure and SLP-CCC certification required
  • Experience providing therapy services in a school setting (K-12)
  • Comfortable with teletherapy modalities and adapting interventions for virtual platforms
  • Demonstrated experience with AAC devices and supporting augmentative communication needs
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to support effective communication strategies in the classroom
  • Maintain availability within a 7:40am–3:00pm schedule on assigned days
