A contract position is available for a Skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an educational setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized therapy services that enhance communication abilities and foster academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school settings
  • Previous school-based therapy experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
