Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Virginia SLP licensure required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric populations (elementary age preferred)
- Background in school-based or healthcare SLP services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and positivity working across varied assignments
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct individualized assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and track student progress
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative services in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organize and manage schedules efficiently across one or two school campuses
- Document all services, maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Engage in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
