This full-time contract opportunity invites both experienced professionals and Clinical Fellows to provide speech-language therapy services to children ages 5-12. You'll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, for a total of 36.25 hours each week. The manageable caseload averages between 25-30 students, fostering meaningful connections and greater impact.
You'll work alongside a collaborative team, benefit from excellent mentorship, and enjoy access to strong resources as you develop IEPs and deliver both individual and group speech therapy services. This environment emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and support.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible licensure as an SLP in New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or interest in working with K-6 student populations
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records and tracking student progress
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering speech-language therapy tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support holistic student growth
- Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
