Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Auburn, NY

Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication and development in a vibrant K-6 educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity invites both experienced professionals and Clinical Fellows to provide speech-language therapy services to children ages 5-12. You'll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, for a total of 36.25 hours each week. The manageable caseload averages between 25-30 students, fostering meaningful connections and greater impact.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current or eligible licensure as an SLP in New York State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or interest in working with K-6 student populations
• Commitment to maintaining accurate records and tracking student progress
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Delivering speech-language therapy tailored to students’ needs
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support holistic student growth
• Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
