Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Experience with early childhood populations, ideally ages birth to five
  • Comfortable conducting therapy in client homes and classroom environments
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel locally as needed for home visits

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, both in homes and educational settings
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine eligibility and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multi-disciplinary teams to support children’s speech and language development
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IFSP/IEP meetings as appropriate
  • Use a range of methods, including in-person and teletherapy, to effectively reach and engage students and families
  • Monitor and adjust interventions based on student growth and family feedback
