Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Montana SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in assessment and intervention for diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic interventions
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services directly to students in individual or small group settings
- Collaborate regularly with educators, support staff, and families
- Maintain clear records and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences
- Provide consultation and training to school team members as needed
