Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current SLP license in good standing (state licensure required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Familiarity with a wide range of therapeutic techniques for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among students
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of IEPs for students in need of speech-language services
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs
  • Maintain clear, thorough, and timely documentation for all services provided, in compliance with school protocols
  • Engage collaboratively with school staff and parents to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers for integrating communication strategies in daily instruction
