Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience with assessment and intervention for a wide range of communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapy professionals
- Strong documentation and organizational skills for maintaining student records
- Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Track and document student progress toward therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer support and training to educators and caregivers to facilitate communication success in the classroom
- Utilize evidence-based practices and resources for therapy sessions
