Skilled Nursing Facility Speech & Language Pathology - Bridgeport, CT

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience with assessment and intervention for a wide range of communication disorders
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapy professionals
• Strong documentation and organizational skills for maintaining student records
• Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
• Track and document student progress toward therapy goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Offer support and training to educators and caregivers to facilitate communication success in the classroom
• Utilize evidence-based practices and resources for therapy sessions
