This full-time, contract opportunity welcomes both skilled Speech-Language Pathologists as well as Clinical Fellows eager to grow professionally. With a straightforward Monday through Friday schedule (8:15am-3:30pm), you’ll work a total of 36.25 hours weekly, managing a caseload of 25-30 students and collaborating with supportive colleagues in an engaging school environment.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience working with school-aged children (K-6) is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Team-oriented, flexible, and dedicated to student success
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student growth
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
