Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for or possession of ASHA CCC or be pursuing CFY
- Prior school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are also encouraged
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Compassion for working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Deliver direct therapy services and provide consultative support within the school setting
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
