Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligibility for or possession of ASHA CCC or be pursuing CFY
  • Prior school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are also encouraged
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Compassion for working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Deliver direct therapy services and provide consultative support within the school setting
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
