A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting, located in Chatham, VA. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, beginning January 23, 2026. The caseload primarily involves providing skilled therapy services across two elementary schools, with approximately 50 students on the caseload. Many students receive indirect therapy, scheduled about once a month, allowing a balanced and focused approach to direct interventions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within healthcare and school environments
  • Skilled in managing a caseload that includes indirect and direct therapy models
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate services across multiple sites

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy evaluations and treatments in line with school guidelines
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor student achievement and adjust interventions accordingly
