Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chicago, IL

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility for state licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience delivering therapy services in educational settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Compassionate and adaptable approach with students of diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow therapists to design and implement effective intervention strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Monitor student progress and adjust goals and strategies as needed to maximize outcomes
• Consult with teachers and families to support students’ carryover of skills in classroom and home environments
