Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one before starting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates also considered
- Experience working with school-age children and familiarity with IEP process
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and organized with a genuine passion for student success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions individually or in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and Medicaid logs as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of tailored goals for students
- Provide support and training to educational staff concerning speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
