A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide therapeutic services in a school setting located in Chicago, IL. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, delivering individualized speech and language therapy to support students' communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans addressing speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and report data on student performance.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to meet the needs of each student.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Proven experience delivering skilled speech therapy services in a school environment.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and handle multiple priorities.
