Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one before starting
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates also considered
  • Experience working with school-age children and familiarity with IEP process
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and organized with a genuine passion for student success

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions individually or in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and Medicaid logs as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of tailored goals for students
  • Provide support and training to educational staff concerning speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
