Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Hold a current and valid CCC-SLP certification
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but motivated new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
  • Evaluate students using formal and informal assessment tools, interpreting results, and participating in eligibility determination
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting language, articulation, voice, fluency, and pragmatic skills
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster students’ academic and social development
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Contribute to IEP meetings with clear, data-driven recommendations
  • Deliver services both individually and in small group settings, adjusting interventions to support diverse learning needs
