Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants also considered
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based settings is highly valued
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and IEP development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with healthcare documentation practices in school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP teams
  • Provide both direct and consultative therapy services to a diverse caseload
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ success
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary meetings
