Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Familiarity with IEP processes and case management responsibilities
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by educators or families
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting each student’s unique needs
• Deliver direct and consultative services within classroom and pull-out settings
• Collaborate actively with educational staff and parents to support students’ academic and social success
• Document progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide guidance and support to staff regarding communication disorders and interventions
