Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP processes and case management responsibilities
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by educators or families
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate actively with educational staff and parents to support students’ academic and social success
- Document progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding communication disorders and interventions
