Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Illinois
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience providing therapy to pediatric or school-aged populations
- Ability to conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Capability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Perform assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress
- Work closely with educators and families to support student communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Develop and implement engaging treatment sessions tailored to each student
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and participation
