Requirements:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Illinois
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience providing therapy to pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Ability to conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Capability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
  • Perform assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress
  • Work closely with educators and families to support student communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Develop and implement engaging treatment sessions tailored to each student
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and participation
