Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience with school-aged youth is a plus
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP process, and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Track progress and maintain documentation according to state and school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and collaborative planning with faculty, parents, and support staff
- Provide consultation and resources to educational staff and families regarding student communication strategies
- Adapt therapy services to remote or in-person formats as needed
