Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Elma, Washington

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK–2nd grade students, including those in a dedicated high-needs program. This school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position offers a flexible weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, with the option to provide virtual services if paired with an onsite SLPA. You’ll work with an engaging caseload of approximately 80 students, making a meaningful difference in their communication and academic development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in educational settings, preferably with PreK–2nd grade or pediatric populations
• Skilled in teletherapy and comfortable with virtual service provision
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
• Collaborative attitude and ability to provide support to SLPA onsite
• Experience or interest in working with high-needs students is a plus

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in general and high-needs classrooms
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Complete necessary evaluations, documentation, and progress monitoring within required timelines
• Supervise or collaborate closely with the SLPA delivering onsite support
• Maintain strong communication with parents, classroom teachers, and other school staff
• Adapt materials and strategies to suit individual student needs, fostering positive learning environments
