Qualifications:

  • Current VA licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Credentialed SLP-CCC or candidates with CFY status encouraged to apply
  • Experienced or entry-level candidates welcome; skilled in pediatric therapy
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
  • Comfortable managing a caseload within elementary school settings
  • Collaborative, communicative, and flexible approach to working with school teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and deliver therapy to students with diverse communication needs
  • Provide therapy across assigned school(s)—choose between single-site or dual-school assignments
  • Document student progress and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers for language and communication strategies
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
