Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience delivering therapy services in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans for students with varying abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding communication strategies
- Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
