Step into a dynamic school-based setting supporting students from Pre-K through 5th grade with your expertise in speech-language pathology. This contract opportunity is tailored for skilled, in-person SLPs holding a California license, ready to make a positive impact on young learners’ communication skills. There are ten openings, so you’ll enjoy the camaraderie of a strong professional team.

You’ll work in a collaborative education environment, delivering both assessment and intervention services to a diverse student population. The daily schedule consists of a 7.75-hour workday (excluding a 30-minute duty-free lunch), running from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm. The position totals 38.75 hours per week, with holidays unpaid. In-person attendance is required, and only candidates who are SLPs (no SLPAs) will be considered. The assignment is set to begin on August 10.

Ideal qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status.
  • Active, valid California SLP license.
  • Prior experience with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings.
  • Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and individualized service delivery.
  • Comfortable working exclusively in-person.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students in Pre-K through 5th grade.
  • Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, and related communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals.
