Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fremont, California

Key Qualifications:

• Active California SLP license (CA SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience in pediatric therapy, ideally within a school or educational setting
• Expertise working with diverse student populations and a variety of communication needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with faculty, families, and outside professionals
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) during ESY
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Document services and progress in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer clinical input on student development
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet varied communication needs and learning styles
