Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license (TN SLP)
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates welcome
  • Background working with pediatric populations, particularly within educational settings
  • Proficient in a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies tailored to diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student on your caseload, monitoring progress and updates as needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to integrate best practices in communication support
  • Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports following district and state protocols
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
